The Auburn Village complex of nearly twelve acres is located approximately mid-way between Crystal City and Old Town, Alexandria in a neighborhood predominantly comprised of single-family homes. Residents of the Auburn Village Community are typically single adults and first-time home buyers. The three hundred and four homes at Auburn Village range in size from 600 square feet (one bedroom) to 970 square feet (two bedrooms), with many variations in between. The seven slate-roofed buildings are brick, two-story garden style structures which were originally built in the early 1940's.
